Doin' it Firenze style

Some new work...

This is just a general image I made for the series of artwork that I'll be doing in Florence.

Then after that is just a few sketchs I did out of my sketchbook, the girls were today and the portrait was from the summer. I apologize for the quality of the photographs but you really gotta bare with me here. The camera I'm working with is the only one I have out here otherwise I'd have disassembled it by now... I hate that thing. Its main issue is that it has lost it's ability to focus correctly. Oh well, hopefully you can make out the shapes on the paper!

More Posters, Go see the Show!

So I'm finishing up some more posters for Los Renaissance Men, for their up coming shows. I'm trying to keep the theme of these posters to art deco (although I know that's not a style usually associated with the renaissance).

And you know, these are real shows, so you could go see them... and should. They're great. This last design is an edit of an old poster that they now want to use as more of a general logo or I guess "profile picture" as we understand it these days.

There's one more to come. I'll post it soon.

More tablet drawing..

So first off I should say that my place of residence has changeddd as y'all may already know. I'm in Italy. And it's great. You can find some pictures on Facebook. Anyways my friend Billy (an experienced a drummer and new coming music producer) wrote a song that Dorothy Yarrington sings in (she happens to be his girlfriend). She's a great singer and he's a great song writer and they are my friends so they asked me to do an album cover for a single.

I just started a graphic design class at SACI so look forward to some work from that too. Other than that though I might not have too much art to show for this semester because all of my other classes are academic. Perhaps I'll put up work that comes out of my creative writing class but I wouldn't count on it yet hahaaa... yeah.
