Florence work...

So, am finally putting up some work from classes I've been taking in Florence! Mind you I've been producing it pretty consistently while I've been here but my camera has been dead for awhile so I was just waiting on my digital work to get done. I've made some etchings though, that I'll be posting later as soon as my edition is done and I get a camera running!

Heeere is an magazine-ish ad that I made for Illustration. Just to remind everyone, my individual theme for this class is fashion illustration in related to florence... I decided to focus on the fact that practically EVERY grown woman in Italy owns and rocks a fur coat, especially the really old ones. They're everywhere and they're SO beautiful... but go faux!

Illustration stuff

I have an Illustration class here in Florence and we had to choose a theme that we'll be applying to the next 6 projects we do. Since I want to make work that can go into an illustration portfolio for myself I decided to work in a subject that I'm pretty familiar with and that I know I can make fairly good work in: Fashion/Advertising design. This is just the first assignment, that expresses you're theme in color. Very simple, kind of just a quick exercise. I drew this in pen and then colored in Photoshop using my tablet!
